We use Oakland Animal Hospital in Rochester, they do everything there and have specialists . My neighbor is a cardiac specialist there. I trust them completely.

Actually my dobie had cancerous masses that needed to be removed...Dr Beach did each surgery...she was so caring...so loving....my Dobie lived another 5 or so years...when we decided to have her put down because she was suffering so badly..again Dr Beach helped us...we received loving sympathy cards from the staff and even phone calls from the doc....good luck with where ever you go..its such an emotional time...

I haven't been there, but I have heard good things about All About Animals at 9 Mile & Mound. Low cost spay/neuter/shots. I sent a friend there & she saved about $800 over what another vet quoted her to have some bad teeth pulled for her Chihuahua.

There's Animal Clinic of Sterling Heights, 17 Mile/Van Dyke. Great hr. plus open 7 days/wk. 586-939-4020. All About Animals uses this vet clinic, all Drs are great, but I like Dr Wilson best! Prices are reasonable too.

Animal Clinic of Sterling Hgts has great prices and do good work! However it's run like an assemply line, dogs in dogs out, felt kinda cold. But for critical care, go there.

I adopted puppy Rosalie from LDDR in Feb, she's going in to be spayed on 04/18. But she's going to Animal Hospital of Chesterfield, on 23 Mile near Sass.

We go to Serenity in Sterling Heights but I hear very good things about Wilson Animal Hospital in Washington. Took our one dog there for rehab.

thank you everyone for your responses! I do take my fosters to Animal Clinic of Sterling Heights, I like them but I'm trying to find closer. All About Animals is just a dog walk away from us and I have used to them for heartworm checks but they're not full service. I never heard anything bad about them but I will keep in mind everything posted here. Anyway, I will note these other places down - Thanks!!

A little more south, but The Paws Clinic in Taylor is good. All about animals on a slightly smaller scale. Also, Humane Society of Huron Valley may be able to help. They are having $20 cat neuters this month.

All About Animals in Warren is great. They spay/neuter pet cats for $40. I'm thinking they'll have a 'beat the heat' special for February coming soon too, usually only $20.

Wilson is very competitive and the Dr's are great - We have two great danes and have checked all of the local vets for pricing. Stoney Creek is great too, but we found they are more $ in the long run, while equal to an office visit in the sort term.

Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Royal Oak, Dr. Sharma is good. Also Dr. Kimbal in Clawson. I've taken stitches out a few times, but only on people, not dogs. Have you asked Erica about the rabies shot? Most places wait until the dog is six months old at least for their first rabies shot.
