We go to the Silver Spring Animal Wellness Center & see Dr. Lisa Kluslow. She is very good at balancing traditional care with an holistic approach. Jack is doing well with his arthritis and shoulder issues.

Both the Best Friends Vet Center in Grafton and the Pewaukee Vet Clinic are known for high quality care and they each offer hydrotherapy. My dog is at BF and I know of several doxies with spinal injuries who have been treated at Pewaukee. Good luck, hope your dog does benefit from the care you seek smile emoticon Maureen Conaty

I get all my animals' dental work done at St. Paul Vet Clinic. I had my doubts because they operate as a low-cost, no-frills clinic, but they have done an amazing job with my two dogs and cat. They are pretty conservative about pulling teeth, and are really careful from the initial blood draw all the way through recovery.

I swear by the Mayfair Animal Clinic. When we first got our dog from the shelter he had been acting very strangely. They did X-rays and found that he had multiple bb's and pellets lodged inside of him. He had previously been abused. It turns out that the pellets weren't the source of his problems (that was solved by grain-free dog good), but they didn't even charge us for the X-rays when they found out he was abused. I still don't know why, but it's something that I'll remember. We've moved since, but we still go to their sister facility in Hales Corners for both out dog and cat. Their prices are very reasonable. Here's their website: http://www.mahnorthave.com

I take my dogs to the Spirit of 76 on Lincoln. Used to go to St. Pauls, but believe it or not, Spirit of 76 was more reasonibly priced. They also seemed to care a lot more.

I go to The Cat Doctor. It's right downtown and only takes cats, which is nice. The doctors are great and they've been able to work with my college student budget.

Would absolutely second the mention of St Paul Vet Clinic. While it's a bit dingy inside and it can be loud and crowded, they saved my cats life and let me make payments since I couldn't afford the entire surgery at one time. Outstanding folks there, everyone is very friendly from the receptionists to the nurses and docs.

St. Paul vet is the best for price. My cat had a tooth removed at Mayfair Animal Hospital and it was around 475. They did a great job ad she was in good care. I had to put it on care credit

since 1988 we went to VCA on Sunset. Dr. Johnson was our vet. they are very caring there. we had to put 2 dogs down and they were very compassionate. attached to their building is a groomer and boarding facility called Best Care Hotel. we haven't had a dog now since 2009 but I'm sure they are still wonderful there.

in 2009 when we had our golden retriever. he got very sick very fast. Dr. Johnson told us before we started any testing, that it didn't look good. we needed to make a decision on how much we wanted to spend right then because each test would be more expensive. i think the fact he told us that spoke volumes:)
