Dr Shelley Cavin. She's great with kids. Doesn't always have to meet in an office, sets up meetings at parks or her office.

I personally go to Dr. Bates in Graham for anxiety issues. I drive 2 hrs to go see him. He is awesome!!!!! His wife practices with him as well as at least 4 others I believe. Psychiatrist generally only prescribe medicine, and don't do any kind of counseling that's why she needs a psychologist instead.

Most of the above mentioned are psychologists, not psychiatrists. If you need a psychiatrist who can prescribe medicine I would re commend talking to your your daughters pediatrician. If you don't have one or they aren't comfortable prescribing, Mary Rita Mallett in Weatherford is a great psychiatrist. Also Bart Robbins or Jessica Ramsey are two pediatricians that are very educated and well versed in mental health issues in children. If you are looking for counseling first, all of the above options are great providers!

Ross Tatum, MD in Fort Worth. I have known him professionally for years! He is a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with excellent counselors in his office too. He is an absolute expert and a great person! Good luck
