Phillip I understand but if you pull a permit replace whatever electrical or hvac and supply a full turnkey job then that's exactly what market price is .... He's a scary number for what water heater replacements would cost if a plumber supplies materials : Electric - $800-$1000 Natural gas - 900-1200 And direct vents 1000-1400 And that's just for 50 gallon heaters ... That's been the market for all plumbing companies competing for years ! Small outfits and individual plumbers like myself are able to cut those cost dramatically because our competition isn't the market ..
