We love our vet: Dr Giles Willoughby at VCA Miller-Robertson. He's an excellent surgeon. Not super cheap but usually quite reasonable...

I love my vet, Dr. White at Hancock Park Vet. Clinic on Wilshire! But, the Century Vet Group is really good too (just kind of pricey)!

If you don't mind driving a few extra miles, The Chesterfield Pet Care Center has been amazing to us. It's on Slauson down in the ghetto, but its affordable and a non profit. So they really actually care about animals there. Otherwise, if you want to stay local and pay premium, The Hollywood Cat & Dog Hospital are great people as well.

I have always traveled with cats. Had 2 until 3 1/2 years ago. Now Skyler & I travel in an RV. He still is in his crate while I am driving, but I let him out when I stop for gas or at rest areas. We are on our way back to NY now from Arizona. I have never had to sedate any of my cats.
