The Hub it's called and the number is 01942 482848 and they will give you an appointment to see a Dr you can ring from 10 am in a morning but not sure what time till I rang Monday about 12 and got an appointment for 7 same day getting an appointment at my gp is like gold dust

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions which I am glad to say were all positive. I have been a patient of Dr A's for around 45 years and I usually don't have a problem trying to get an appointment, it is a bit frustrating now though. I'm also concerned that vulnerable people, the elderly living alone, or the parent who has been up all night with a sick child that has been waiting for the 8 am open telephone line, will be at their wits end, it could well push people over the edge. Again, thank you all for your comments and suggestions.
