Iredell Eye in Statesville are really good. They are linked with Charlotte Ear, Eyes, Nose, & Throat. I have a friend that has an eye disease and she has to have special contact lenses as well and they are able to help her.

Dr Moore, main office is Lexington but he works in the Ws office on Fridays, been going to him for 30 years, with all my 'eye issues' he has fitted me with the correct lens perfectly every time.

Oscar Oglethorpe in Downtown GSO has the coolest glasses for 150 which includes frames and lens. I just bought two pair. Great place. I think their exams run about the same as Walmart. The best part about their frames is once they're gone, they're gone. They don't reorder so what you'll have is unique to you.
