I totally recommend Stay Pet Hotel! They offer kennel free boarding, which is a need for us. My dog has kennel and separation anxiety, and absolutely loves it there! It’s basically doggy play dates all day long. Employees are great, seriously could not recommend the place enough!

I’ve never had my dog stay overnight but he LOVES daycare there (he’s anxiously glued to me usually but every time I drop him off he sprints away from me without a care in the world). They use positive reinforcement / humane management techniques and seem to really care for the dogs’ emotional and physical welfare. Check them out on IG too!

Sniff Dog Hotel is really nice. They’re not cheap but have all kinds of fun extras to make your dog happy. Plus I’m pretty sure there are cameras you can watch your dog through.

Try TrustedHousesitters. You pay for the website (as do the sitters) but there is no money transaction between the two parties, it is an exchange of pet care for housing for however long you are gone. Sitters have referrals, reviews, and a whole profile you can peruse to make your decisions. You set your own pet and house rules. You can also talk to the sitters and interview to feel it out. Most have done a handful of sits and have pet care experience/backgrounds. The membership you pay for lasts a whole year so you can use it as many times as you need to leave town.

I had Madx housesit at my place for a week recently while I traveled for the first time since the pandemic and I highly recommend. My dog was relaxed and calm when I got back, in great spirits, and my apartment was crazy clean, they’re on Rover: https://r.rover.com/aDqGj7
