When we moved from the rental here to our house 6 yrs ago we used one of the national affiilates, either United Van Lines or Mayflower, can't remember which. At the time they were the only ones who offered decent insurance on big-ticket fragile items like large flat-screen tvs. Also, their employees have to go through a course of education on proper packing and loading techniques and they all have a minimum experience requirement. At the time the the cut-rate movers like 2 Men and a Truck or All My Sons couldn't guarantee any of that. Their labor was often just big guys looking for a day rate job. The price difference wasn't enough to justify the risk.
