  If staying in Monroe is a priority, I'd recommend checking out Hannah Mueller Dvm with Cedarbrook Veterinary Care 360-794-9255. They have a Snohomish address, but are located up Wagner Road. I haven't used her services, but she seems very knowledgeable and is involved with caring for rescue horses via Northwest Equine Stewardship.
