Mind you, it was not just a $20 or $30 dollar mixup. It was in the hundreds ($350+). I let that pass because people said good things about this place. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding. The second year, I had another HUGE issue with what they were trying to sell me and bill me!!!! I have 2 pets and wanted them both covered. From what I was told and with the HUGE amount of money I just shelled out to this place, both my pets were covered. NOPE! Wrong!! That's just for one of your pets! Now think about it, I have 2 pets. Why would I just want to have coverage for one? So I chalked that up to another misunderstanding and I let that pass.... And then today, I brought one of my pets to get his ears checked out. I suspected he had an ear infection. My appointment was at 2pm. At 3:15pm, I was still there, just waiting. When I told the heavyset lady my grievances, she treated me as if I owed her money and didn't pay her back. Over the years, I've spent thousands at this hospital. Today, I realized, they don't really care about your pet, what they really CARE about is making $$$ and could care less how much you feel about it. For example, they look at my dog's ears and say, "He has an infection. BUT.. we don't know what kind of infection so we have to perform MORE testing. The assistant is going to go over pricing with you. Just sign if you agree." And the doc leaves. ARE you KIDDING ME??? I brought my pet here so he could be properly diagnosed and treated. The doc said there are two medications but without further testing, she didn't know which medication to prescribe (but what she really meant to say was she would not prescribe anything unless I agreed to further testing). And after an hour and fifteen minutes, I'm just sitting there. I told them that I had to go and that I'd just buy both of the medications. They told me they could not sell me any type of medication without the test results. Upsell on the doctor's visit. Upsell on the testing. Upsell on the medication. Kept me waiting for over an hour. That's completely absurd to be kept waiting that long!!!! No apologies whatsoever. Oh and to top it all off, they treated me like I was worthless!!! Don't come here unless you want to get ripped off and treated like a deadbeat!

Next question: vet bills are expensive, normally this wouldn't be an issue but considering mine and my husband's current situation, our budget is tight and unfortunately a vet bill isn't in that budget. Are there any organizations or clinics that would offer assistance?
