I also had Dr.Rindlisbacher (& so do 2 of my friends), and he's pretty good. He casted my foot twice, and since I didn't want to do that again, I tried someone else. I also like Dr. LaRose. She diagnosed my foot problem, and I've done well with her. 562-4958. Both docs are very nice.

Try http://www.alaskapodiatry.com/ I went there a couple of times and the two doctors I saw seemed pretty good. They have several doctors to choose from and serve a variety of different needs. Good luck!

Not sure who you saw initially, but Dr. Matt Heilala was recommended to both my mom and I by two different doctors. He seems to be well respected.

Jansma at AK Foot & Ankle Specialists is who we refer too but Dr. LaRose and Dr. Swayman are both good as well. They are both at AK Regional Campus. AFAS (Jansma) is off of Lk Otis in the brick building that Bernie's Pharm is in, across the street from Lk Otis Pharm between 36 th and tutor.
