I love Southlake Peds as well. They have a bunch of locations. My OBGYN recommended them and so I had them on my paperwork before Madie was born and then they came to see us when she was born. http://southlakepediatrics.com/

Southdale Peds or Metro Peds in Edina are great--depending on where you deliver, the doctors round at the hospital, so tell them when you check in who your peds group is. Many will do a "meet and greet" for free prior to baby being born. We chose just the group prior to my son's birth and liked the doctor that rounded on us and went with him.

I was so confused on this also! I delivered at Southdale hospital. Someone from Southdale peds rounds and we were either going to go with whoever that was if we liked them or find another doc at Southdale peds. We loved dr. Hagen who was rounding so stuck with her. Also, if you do Southdale peds and are going to breastfeed, Lisa Kraning is their lactation consultant and she is amazing!!!

My sister is a nurse in Labor/Delivery/Postpartum at Maple Grove hospital and she said that if you don't have a pediatrician picked out or your pediatrician doesn't round at Maple Grove Hospital then one of the Pediatric Hospitalists will see your baby when he is born and then you can have the records transferred to the doctor of your choice. She also said all the Pediatric Hospitalists do a great job. They are associated with Fairview. Hope this helps! Dr Brandt at southdale peds. It is off of France ave across from whole foods sorta. They have a couple locations one in EP too and great hours. Love it there.

Metro Peds is a great network. We go to the Shakopee office, but have visited the Edina office on a Saturday and they are just as great as Shakopee. Make an appointment and interview the doctor before baby is born. You will be much more comfortable doing so. If it isn't a fit, choose another doctor.

Southdale Peds. We see Karl Williams, but haven't run into a bad one yet

We love Dr. McCarthy at Metro Peds in Edina!! The ped at the hospital saw Lili and we went to dr McCarthy a few days after she was born for the wellness check.

I take my daughter to Central Pediatrics in Woodbury.

Just in case central peds is not in your insurance network; Healtheast Woodbury Clinic, now expanded to the new Tamarack Clinic near Super Target. Dr. Engstrum is great. In the past 7 yrs we have never waited more then 10 min. to be seen.

LOVE the fact Central Peds has its own urgent care.
