My kids see Nancy Hoogenhaus (Pediatric Nurse Practioner) at Fairview Andover Clinic off of Hansen Blvd and Bunker Blvd. She is better than any pediatrician I have ever seen. She is so friendly, caring. and patient (with any and all of your questions you may have). She is also easier to get in to if needing a impromptu apt! I highly recommend her!! Good luck!

She is very warm, knowledgeable, and very honest - if something is out of her range of specialty, she never hesitates to consult a colleague or recommend someone to bring in. I t rust her humility and her authority. I do not know how many patients she may have on the spectrum, as that's not exactly our special need! I wish you luck, Lakeville has proved to be a wonderful home for us. Dr. Mitha practices in Burnsville - a few miles north.

I take my son to the fairview in uptown. The have walkin peds mon-from until noon. We see Sara Johnson. She is awesome and loves seeing my 7 mo old and how much he's grown. My one complaint is that their phone lines are often packed and it takes way too long to get through, but they do partner with fairview southdale for emergencies, and fairview riverside has fantastic midwives if you ever want more kids!

South Lake Pediatrics in Maple Grove. We see Dr. Hansen. I love (personal preference) that all their nurse practicioners are also lactation consultants. ( I know you are a bit past that) But for me it was great support since I nursed all 4 of my babies. I have liked all the other Dr.'s there as well. Good luck with your choice!
