Call Hill Eye Care Center in Booneville tomorrow at 720-1910. They might can help.
Nicole H. replied:
What about Wood Eye Clinic? I know they are in Ponotoc, not Tupelo, but it is really not that far away. We see Dr. Maynard there who is Tara Harris's sister. I think Dr. Wood is their Uncle.
Bobby P. replied:
Have you tried the Tupelo Eye Center optical - 844-3814? If Matt needs a special lens for his glasses, the lenses and frames may have to be ordered. It will take a few days for the lenses can be properly cut and placed into the frames. My daughter was fitted for glasses before she was a year old; that was back in the early '90 s.

Graves' F. replied:
Hello - Referrals for endocrinologists are available at www.aace.com and www.thyroid.org. On the AACE site, be sure and select the specialty “thyroid dysfunction.” For eye surgeons, http://www.asoprs.org/i4 a/pages/index.cfm?pageid=3504 has a search option available. The GDATF has also just launched a physician registry of doctors who have told us they have particular expertise in Graves’. To access the registry, go to the home page at www.gdatf.org and click on “physician registry” in the box on the top right-hand side of the screen. (Registration is required, but it is free). Because we are just getting started, we might not yet have a lot of listings in your part of the country. Hope this helps!

After decades of agonizing over my 20/20 vision, I may finally be eligible for glasses! Anyone want to recommend an affordable eye doctor? It's finally happening!!!
Nicole S. replied:
I love the peeps at Lenscrafters at Mall of America. In and out like that. I paid about $75 for my appt. but bought my lenses from WarbyParker.com. No matter where you go, make sure they give you your pupil distance if you want to order lenses online.

Vision Works downtown has the best frames! Don't know how expensive their exams are though

Lillian Egner... Here's a thought. If you think it's just your arms aren't long enough anymore. Not an eye health issue... Go to any drug store of your choice. Grab a +1.00 Reader (granny glasses) and see if that "fixes" your 20/20 issue. If it doesn't...See More

Target Optical eye exams are $70. I'm also going Warby Parker for my next pair of glasses. Cheap enough that cheap glasses don't seem so cheap anymore.

Dr Whiting and Dr. Loomis at the Whiting Clinic. Dr. Whiting did my cataracts surgeries and inter ocular lenses implantations and the surgery for posterior capsulary fibrosis. Great Doctors. Very knowledgeable. And he knew when to stop with the surgeries when I still had problems with both optic nerves.

Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Parvateneni at Northwest Eye Clinic in Minnetonka, in the Children's West building at 6060 Clearwater Drive. She's a pediatric specialist and did a great job with our daughter.
Anybody know of a good kid-friendly eye doctor in the area?
Trish D. replied:
YES!!! http://actg.org/programs-services/vision-services My daughter had a 2 hour eye exam there, and I was very impressed. Also...they apparently know medical coding voodoo, because they got BC/BS to cover it, and we do not have vision coverage.

They were booked solid for months so we just went in early one morning and did an emergency exam because Stella was getting an ulcer in on her corneas it was a little more expensive but hers surgery was needed ASAP. Good luck. We loved the office everyone was wonderful
Looking for a good eye doctor. Who would you suggest?
Jennifer B. replied:
Chris Freed!!! He has multiple locations and is the BEST I've ever met. He's amazing!!!!!
Sarah B. replied:
Dr. Albert LaMotte who now is located at the Sam's Club in Apple Valley. Tell him I sent you. He'd get a kick out of it. He is so good at trouble shooting any problems.
Sarah B. replied:
Dr. LaMotte I think takes all sorts of insurances too.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good eye doctor? I want to set up my first eye exam, since..... um... middle school.
Russ K. replied:
Good or cheap? If you are looking for cheap I suggest Americas Best in Har Mar Mall. Then once you have the prescription you can order glasses online for so freaking cheap. I think Ashley buys them through Zenni Optical.
Frostilshoshanna S. replied:
Toni Albrect. She works out of In Vision at the Galleria mall and Midwest Opticians out in Saint Paul.
