I use Massage Envy only because I have a membership. Once I'm done with it I will return to Spring Hill Mall and go back to the Asian run place inside the mall. They are always very good and while some may say a mall massage is creepy, i never get that vibe. The price is very fare as well.

If you don't mind a deeper tissue massage, try Foot Finesse on Golf Road in Schaumburg. It's a little bit different, but you can't beat the price $28/hour + tip. Check them out on YELP. People either love it or really don't like it. I've been there several times. To me the actual muscle massage part is more important than the ambiance.

Interview a chiropractor as you would any Contractor! Learn about the modalities used in that practice. Some conditions took years to develop, and will take longer to correct. Insurance companies are now limiting number of visits..Chiro, I can fix this in 10 visits, Ins Co..do it in 5. Do not blame the chiro if you are not completely well when Ins runs out. Also, learn all you can do as a partner in your treatment and do it. There's some great docs named above..good referrals come from satisfied patients. Most chiro take their time and explain beyond what you would learn in md office.

Dr. Blackford in Hoffman Estates. Be careful where you go - I've dealt with back pain for nearly 15 years so I've gone to many places. Some are pretty much scams, instilling fear of your condition to rip you off. Be weary of any that make promises and request payment upfront for 6-8 mos. That includes some "chains." Also good to consider what type of treatment they offer - there's a wide range of practices they use outside of the typical adjustment.
