I’ve had excellent Indian at Zafferano on via al Prato. Also, just tried the new Armenian/ Georgian restaurant Ararat in Borgo la Croce, good but not cheap. They do have a €12 lunch weekdays, though.

L'areperia firenze has really good Venezuelan food and good prices, on Borgo la Croce there is a great greek place..Koto Ramen on VIa Verde is amazing and Com Saigon has extremely authentic and well made vietnamese food but it's a little pricey. For Japenese both Osaka Ristorante Giapponese and Hoseki are great.

Hi Mysha, my very favourite place is Panzano, there's a gorgeous place where you can stay called "Villa Le Barone" (not cheap but amazing), around Panzano there are many walks you can enjoy, and a beautiful "Pieve" (church) you can Visit: San Leolino. For the wine tasting I suggest "Il palagio" they are very nice and there wine is fabulous!

Mysha Pavel, Montefioralle is a fortified medieval village near Greve (30 min walking or 10 by car) you have to make an appointment to visit and it costs 15 euro per person but you will get a beautiful, chill, and personalized experience. Mysha Pavel, if you want I can try to send you a map with one of the itinerary I know. it's about 10/12 km, a loop from Panzano. I have a little travel agency Green Ways Tour and we organise this kind of excursions. I did it in may and it was spectacular.

Great selection of, by the glass, wines opened daily and the assorted cheeses and meats and some focaccia to go with are a perfect reprieve from a day of wandering the old town!
