Loved Dr. Goderwis as well but after not making an appt for more than 3 yrs I was no longer considered a patient when I tried to get in 8 months ago, and he wasn't taking new patients. Couldn't make an appt.

Becky R. replied:
I'm in love with Dr. Brokaw with Pediatric Associates. They have an office off Mt. Zion and one in Crestview. Been seen in both offices and the staff are awesome in both locations. Dr. Brokaw will come in and play with her (she's 5 months) talk to us then do what he needs to do. Talks about his family and we've never felt rushed or like we were just another patient, he truly does care. I'd say he's 40 ish give or take?

Dr. Friedle at Christ Hospital Physicians in Ft. Wright. She's an internist. She listens and isn't dismissive of patient concerns. I would NOT go to Dr. Melton, I've heard too many horror stories of not listening to patient concerns and problems not being caught before it was too late.
Kym T. replied:
Dr. Sternberg!
Paula W. replied:
We love Dr. Doug Goderwis with St. E Physicians in Florence. He is both an Internist and Pediatrician so he has treated all of us since my sons were in diapers. Listens, not pushy with the rx's, very thorough.

I go to Dr. Melton, who I like, but I'm thinking you might like Dr. Sternberg. He isn't quick to prescribe meds and is a great listener.

Dr. Melanie Proctor with St. E Physicians on Mt. Zion and 42. Being female, I like having a female physician. She is easy to talk to, very attentive, doesn't rush you thru appts., and gets to the bottom of what ails you. Highly recommend her!

You might check out "Go Beyond Medicine." The physician in the group, Dr. Michael Grogan, is very experienced, open-minded, and an excellent listener. (We just don't see him very often because we've had very little illness...) He has other staff members that handle at least some of the things you mentioned. His office is on Cavalier Blvd. in Florence. The website is: http://gobeyondmedicine.com/ .

Lori, if you want a good Chiropractor go to Dr Maccucci at Chiropractic Care by Union Kroger. They also do alternative stuff there. If you want someone who is great with alternative medicine go to Amish herbalist Jake Schwartz. He can be found west of Caanan, Indiana (near the Switzerland County line). If you travel along Hwy 250, you will look for N Scotts Ridge Road. There is a sign about 3/4 mile down the road to mark Jake's place. Canaan is East on 250 from 65. 7958 N. Scotts Ridge Rd. Canaan, IN 47224. He has done wonders for me. You can pm me if you want to know more about either of them

Lisa B. replied:
Dr. Terry Henderson in Ft. Thomas is very good, I've heard. He's a holistic chiropractor, I think?
Nicole D. replied:
Actually, I'm not sure what insurance they currently take. Some years ago (maybe 2007), they were going to start having patients file their own claims to cut down on costs, but ended up doing ours themselves. I believe we had Aetna at the time. And I k now they take Medicare patients. Just call for details. I daresay they have some decent arrangements with insurance companies or they wouldn't have stayed in business. Dr. Grogan, MD, has been in this area for many years.
Mary S. replied:
You could look into Chiropractic Care Center in Union and their Holistic Wellness Center, Serenity Now.
Shanon F. replied:
