I board two Labrador retrievers at the Northway Animal Hospital occasionally, the lady who takes care of them over the weekends really love the dogs there.

I use Jenny's Pets (www.jennyspets.com), she comes and feeds our stuff when we're out of town, haven't ever had a single complaint with her.

For short stays, my dog seemed to not hate her time at my Vet(Aerocity Animal Hospital). She'd always go back with the vet techs and sit in her crate, which she refused to do anywhere else. Rates were about 12 a day. I never left her there for more than 2-3 days.

I use Trusty Vet. They have been awesome with my allergy dog. Also, my cat had to have several extractions. She was mistreated by a previous owner and was missing most of her teeth when we got her. She now only has 3 teeth left but, they did an amazing job. She has a great quality of life now and healed quickly and easily. I'd say, bring your dog in to the office. They can look at how extreme the damage is and give you a price quote.

Care credit has been a saving grace with our dog and cat. Our dog's allergies are so severe and nothing works to help her. So needless to say, we are regulars at the office. Lol

Yes, Trusty Vet is an awesome clinic, super friendly and sweet. I wouldn't go to any other vet than them. Plus they have some awesome office cats to pet while you're waiting as well, haha.

Care credit seriously saved our lives. I haven't had a problem with Trusty vet not understanding our breed, but we have a boxer mix. I will say, we adopted her when she was 1 in Florida. She was fine, loved swimming in the ocean, just a happy normal pup. We moved her here and within 2-3 months she developed horrendous environmental allergies. Nothing has fixed them, our only relief is long term steroid use. The ladies at the office were so considerate, and knew that we wanted to try everything else first before doing that (because of the organ damage they do). And we have been trying things for almost 2 years. But, all the girls have gotten attached to our dog and they love her! In spite of everything she has gone through she LOVES the vets office. To me, that's the best thing about them. They understand your worries and they work with you on everything that they can.

My mom recently used Meridianville Pet Hospital. We both like the vet and have been surprised by how reasonable her rates are, both on dentals and other services.

The North Alabama Spay/Neuter Clinic is open. they don't have a vet at the moment but they can help with the cost. I believe they use Flint River.

North Alabama Animal Hospital is right across from hazel green high and very reasonable, they are the cheapest in the area. I have used them for years. 828 7474. It's well worth the drive!!!

I started when they first opened when I had three dogs (I had my sons college dog also), my dear Missie, black lab was diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism. I can't tell you how much money this plan saved me. In addition when that time came, Missie had an agree dive and rare form of cancer and when my golden just aged out to the point she could not stand up by herself, the included a huge discount for end of life and I was able to have them cremated and ashes returned to me. I now have plans for my current babies.

Doorstep DVM; Dr. Michelle Ashman; comes to you and she is really great. I've used Governors Choice and Chase in the past but I would not leave Dr. Ashman until she closes the door.
