Looking for an affordable vet in the area, my chihuahua is scratching her ear so bad she made it bleed, she also needs her teeth cleaned. Any suggestions ?

Chris T. replied:
+1 for Inglemoor Vet. We like the doctors and the staff. There is the new vet clinic next to Columbia that we want to check out.

Carrie K. replied:
Dr. Pheiffer is great. He doesn't get gewy over the animals and say they are cute, like I prefer to hear, but he is focused, smart, and cares about the critters.
Jordan B. replied:
Evergreen Veterinary Hospital Dr. Cullen is the best!
Chris N. replied:
Finn Hill Vet by the QFC on Juanita Drive usually offers 1/2 price teeth cleaning. I was only charged $45 for my dog and his teeth were pretty grungy ! They did a great job. I love that place and can't say enough about them!
Cherie W. replied:
We have used the Juanita Hills Animals Hospital down by Safeway. They are open 7 days a week and have saved us lots by not having to pay emergent care fees due to their extended days and hours. We have been pleased.
Thom M. replied:
Finn Hill Vet by the QFC on Juanita Drive... They're just awesome...
Eunice H. replied:
We love Dr. Sharma at Kenmore Veterinary Hospital. Provides excellent pet care. Very kind & compassionate.
Chris N. replied:
Finn Hill Animal Hospital, right next to QFC on Juanita Drive . Super nice, friendly, and SO REASONABLE!! 425-814-2220
Angie F. replied:
Kenmore Vet is great too. We use them.and Inglemoor but I find at Kenmore, they'll work towards finding issue causes before passing out random prescriptions.
Sara M. replied:
Dr Sharma at Kenmore Vet is the best!!
Laurie A. replied:
I have been going to Inglemoor vet for ever, we really like Dr. Chatterson.
Hi all, any good veterinarian recommendations for an older cat? Doesn't necessarily have to be a vegan vet but I figured this group would have the best vet advice. <3...
Jen S. replied:
I just changed vets to All About Cats in Kirkland. Dr Lester is a cat whisperer and so kind. The shelter I volunteer for sends most of the kitties to him for treatment. http://weareallaboutcats.com
Valerie C. replied:
I like Cats Exclusive in Shoreline. That's a long haul from Sequim tho!
Judith A. replied:
Cat Clinic of Seattle: 206-633-1133
Ellen K. replied:
I go to Tacoma's Value Pet Clinic. They have branches in Seattle too. They are so caring and nice. I started going there because I couldn't afford a $500-900 procedure my cat needed. VPC did it for $170
Rachel B. replied:
Cats Exclusive is pretty great.
Janine A. replied:
Mercy Vet on MI. They are amazing. Good combo of traditional and holistic care, and don't sell science diet to their clients. Since moving to Chicago it's the single most place I miss about Seattle. They cared for my cats following the pet food recall in 2007.
Meghan S. replied:
I have a 13-year-old cat with lots of issues. We also take him to Cats Exclusive in Shoreline.
Sarah M. replied:
I like Dr Kraft. He's a mobile vet which is so helpful. I'm not sure if he covers Sequim. He and Kerri his tech have helped many of our cats (6 over the years) http://www.kraftmobilevet.com/
Judith A. replied:
Cat clinic of Seattle in Wallingford/Fremont area on Stone Way. Been going there for 20 years with several cats. I don't trust anyone else. They are pricey but worth the sound treatment & peace of mind. Have had a diabetic cat they treated so lovingly & a kitty that went into renal failure they treated wonderfully. I'll never go anywhere else.
My regular vet (3 dogs, 1 cat) is VCA on RedWood http://www.vcahospitals.com/redwood?utm_source=maps&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=VCA_Redwood_Animal_Hospital I have also taken my animals to http://www.vcahospitals.com/redmond?utm_source=maps&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=VCA_Redmond_Animal_Hospital and for emergencies I go to http://aesvets.com/ For emergency I prefer the AES over the local emergency one in Redmond.
Maile H. replied:
Dr. Frank at Harmony Animal Wellness Center is hands-down the best vet I have gone to. I wouldn't trust my pets with any other vet.
We have been using Juanita Hills Vet on 100 th . They are open 7 days a week which has saved us tones on emergent vet services. My small dog does not warm to everyone and she loves them. They also have coupons in the Val Pak mailings

I've always been happy at Inglemoor Animal Hospital. The Dr's I've used are Kemper, Martin and Pfeifer - but I'm sure they are all good.
Torrie C. replied:
Evergreen vet clinic! Hands down THE BEST!! I know Dr. Cullen personally and she is one of a kind. I have worked for vets growing up and she is the best I know. So caring and loves her job.
Carrie K. replied:

Dr Cassie Chatterson at Inglemoor is very good as well!

Dr. Chatterson at Inglemoore Animal Hospital Kenmore
Sultan Vet Clinic is the most reasonable for rates. Without going to Lynnwood. Amber Collins, if you are near Sultan I have a Cactus Comfort pet spray we used for my dog when he had a cut on his foot and it healed great without a vet. You can buy it at Sams pet in Monroe. But if you are close enough and want to barrow this for the night you can come by and try it.
Melissa V. replied:
This is the vet we use, its the cheapest we have found. http://mypetsvetclinic.com/

Kayla M. replied:
I think with all vets you'll find bad and good experiences. My boss used to go to kindness and hated it. She said it was the worst vet she's ever been too. Besides them being rude, they tried to sell her and charge her for everything under the sun. N ow at cascade there is one vet I do dislike. But that's only one out of four. Dr. Shawn is my vet, and she is the very best vet Ive ever experienced. I've used her for years with all of my animals. 3 cats and 2 dogs. But on another group someone asked for a vet and there was an overwhelming amount of people recommending cascade animal clinic and pilchuck too. I've had nothing but good experiences smile emoticon (heads up: you dont want dr Kingsley tho lol)
I have a dear friend that needs to put his best friend ferret down and he has called several vets and they say they won't do it. Anyone know a vet that will?
Cookie M. replied:
This is the clinic we used for one of our ferrets: http://sultanvet.com/
Looking for a new vet. Prefer someone who specializes in older dogs and only recommends tests/meds/procedures that are really needed. TIA!
Kristin T. replied:
Try Inglemoor Animal Hospital. They have been wonderful and very practical about tests and things...
Jennifer P. replied:
Another nod to Inglemoor Animal hospital!
Carrie K. replied:
both Dr. chatters on and Dr. Pheifer are great
Jennifer R. replied:
Kirkland Animal Hospital, Dr. Brisbois. Best doctor in town!!!
Janis B. replied:
I've been using Dr. Pfeifer at Inglemoor Animal Hospital for over 15 years now. He's talked me out of doing x-rays on my Golden several times as he doesn't think it is necessary. He's very thorough and our only disagreement is I only feed organic food to my pets so won't buy the "Science Diet" they carry. We respectfully disagree with each other, and I trust him (and his staff) with all four of my pets.
Debbie O. replied:
Yay for Dr. Pheifer. He has touched our pets lives in many special ways.
Susan H. replied:
Dr Kemper was awesome with my old Zoe!
Susan J. replied:
i used to see Dr. Pfeifer for my senior dogs but found Dr. Hannah Eckstrom at the AtHome Vet in Woodinville to be better in keeping tests, costs, and pharmaceuticals to a minimum. She does house calls too!
Criss E. replied:
Dr Tina Ellenbogan specialized in pet hospice and comes to your home.
Janis B. replied:
I agree with others here about Dr. Kemper, Vammen, and Chatterson at Ingelmoor Animal Hospital, in addition to Dr. Pfeifer. They're all wonderful vets too. http://www.inglemooranimalhospital.net/Animal_Hospital_Our_Staff_Kenmore_WA.html
Dyana S. replied:
3 rds for Inglmoor Animal Hospital and I highly recommend Dr. Cassy Chatterson. She is gentle, but smart and always looks at the big picture. She's conservative about procedures but also acts in our animals' best interests. She's the best!
Deborah H. replied:
Dr Cassy at Inglemoor is my Vet for our sweet elderly rescue. She's wonderful
Jennifer L. replied:
We love Dr. Chatterson too! But all the vets at Inglemoor are very nice.
Jesika J. replied:
Love Dr. Kristin Kemper at Inglemoor for our dogs. She talks to me in plain english & never recommends anything that's not completely necessary. One of my dogs doesn't like anyone except me, my SO, & one of my friends, but he likes Dr. Kemper.:)
Brenda N. replied:
Dr. Chatterson
Debbie O. replied:
Any of the vets at Inglemoor. Dr. Chatterson is great. We have gone there since they opened...
This is not a Lost post but a question. I do not qualify for care credit and I have a 14yr old cat that is ill. My son, who is autistic, and this cat are best friends...
Stacey B. replied:
VCA Silver Lake Animal Clinic does payments In Everett.
Penelope P. replied:
If you go to any VCA clinic for the first time - your $55 vet visit is free! Then if VCA Sliver lake takes payments you are on your way. Plus, I will donate $25 to your vet account. If he is not moving - he is in pain, please take asap.
Bonne V. replied:
On www.meowcatrescue.org, click in Resources for a list of organizations which may offer some financial assistance. Each one probably has its own requirements but worth looking at.
Terri H. replied:
I hear Sno King vet will work with you on payments. I think the office visit is $38.50 up front and then payment arrangements. One of my cats has problems pooping and I give him probiotics for digestion. Just use 1/8 t on about a T of wet food 1 x a day. Seems to be helping. Also, I've used a little canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie kind) mixed with wet food.
Angie E. replied:
Try Dr Ron at smokey point animal hospital. $30 appointment $500 is way too much for those two services. Dr Ron is great, doesn't overcharge AND has a clear love for animals. I spent less than $300 at smokey point animal hospital on my car who reacted badly to a rabies vaccine. 4 visits, lots of antibiotics, appetite stimulants, steroids, sub q fluids, blood work, etc
Anyone know a good vet in the area that won't charge a small fortune for a knee repair surgery, Riley's knee really needs fixed and the vet I took her to wants to charge...
Sarah B. replied:
It is probably a bit out of the way for you, but we go to a vet in Edgewood. They are great. I fully trust them and would recommend them to anyone. Edgewood Vet Clinic is located a bit past Wild Waves.
Joby B. replied:
Dr. Young at Rainier Beach. DO NOT GO TO THE VET ON 1ST BY YOUR HOUSE, THEY ARE HORRIBLE!
Sarah B. replied:
Ick. This staff is great. I even interviewed one of the vets there for an assignment. They are all so nice and personable. Dr. Santiago is my fav! We have seen her the most.
Sarah B. replied:
Mmm. I don't know if they do in-house financing. I think they do Care Credit though...

Stacey B. replied:
Purrfect Pals in Arlington. They did mine for free and then I got shots for them as well. Only cost me $20 to get the shots. That was for two cats.
