Off topic, I apologize, but I moved in yesterday to Redmond (Bear Creek) and am in need of some advice from some locals.
Do you have a _____________* (*see below) that...
Carolyn K. replied:
Yes, I second The Stone House for Chef Owned intimate dining. The other one in Redmond for that kind of experience is the Sages Restaurant.
Kimberly O. replied:
Dr Lehocky at Redwood Animal Hospital on 87 th (near Bella Bottega) is great.
Jennifer W. replied:
Yes, Eastern Pearl Chinese restaurant! And if you go to Massage Envy in Redmond, I recommend "Cat" (Catalino). I'm happy with the vets at VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital (http://www.vcahospitals.com/rose-hill) and if you have a dog, don't miss the off-leash dog area at Marymoor Park.
JoAnna B. replied:
Garden Centers - McLendon's in Woodinville (also fun hardware store), Plant World in Maltby
Deunan B. replied:
And the Root Beer store is across from the Home Depot/Fred Meyer complex, just a little further down that back road. Massage Envy is in the Bear Creek complex. Brookside Dental in Redmond is my fav dentist. And BECU. It's awesome.
Andy C. replied:
^^^ Oh yes, The Root Beer Store. Definitely The Root Beer Store.
Carolyn K. replied:
Eastern Pearl for Chinese & Dim Sum on the weekends. Hugo's Organic - hand-made gluten free pasta, etc. Kanishka - Indian Buffet. Minea Farm on Woodinville-Redmond Rd for local honeys, ciders, etc. (weekends only)

I live next door in Kirkland. I will say that in downtown Kirkland (straight up 85 th) I go to a nail salon and get a full spa pedi for $15 (cash only) at Finger Paints. My colorist (also in Kirkland) is amazing Deanna@Bombaii. Dentist recommendation (Dad is a Dentist so I am very picky) Dr. Files: http://www.drfiles.com/dentist-in-redmond-wa-contact/
Andy C. replied:
-I highly recommend Maxim Massage on 160 th and 84 th. I was a regular client of theirs for two years and can't say enough good things about them. As an additional plus, they patiently listened as I rambled on about SCA stuff while I was on the table. -Regarding dentists, I had positive experiences with Redmond Way Dentistry on 160 th and Redmond Way. I didn't frequent them that often though. -While you're in the area, I recommend trying Ooba Tooba, a Mexican restaurant on 158 th and 83 rd. They make their salsas fresh every day, and it's delicious. All three of these are just north the QFC on the corner of Redmond way and 160 th. There's also a branch of Wells Fargo and the Redmond Library close by. It's a good little area.

Our vet is right by MSFT, Companion Animal Hospital. Open 7 days a week, they board, and are wonderful. http://www.companionveterinarybellevue.com/
Does anyone have a suggestion for a vet that is open today (not a true emergency, other than we'd like to get our dog seen today, rather than waiting until tomorrow, due...
Karen M. replied:
Try Dr. Treauting Mobile vet
Kelly N. replied:
We go to Redwood Animal Hospital. Its a trek up to Redmond, but the vets are great and they're open on Sundays and until 9 on weeksays.
Chelsea R. replied:
I really like Wildnerness Animal Hospital in Maple Valley.
Nancy M. replied:
Try Dr. Hogan. I hope your girl is okay.
Diana H. replied:
They aren't open today, but if you end up needing a vet in the future we love these guys, and their costs are much more reasonable than a lot of the vets. http://redmondsammamishveterinary.com
Nikki C. replied:
We have used Dr. Hogan for both our labs, he is great!!!
Kim L. replied:

I have a problem. One of my cats got sick and peed on the carpet. Took him to the vet so he is getting better, but don't know what product is the best. Any suggestions?
Extreme R. replied:
Best for cleaning the carpet? If so, I've used KIDS N PETS cleaner in the past, it seemed to work well. I've seen it at Walmart and Raley's, maybe it's in all stores. http://kidsnpetsbrand.com/
Hi neighbors! I'm looking for recommendations for a vet in the area. Thanks! :)
Leon D. replied:
Dr Miller in Loyal companion animal care.
Sallie M. replied:
I second Loyal Companion. They have been very sweet and thorough with our animals. The cost is competitive as well.
Mary B. replied:
VCA at Bella Bottega- very caring and wonderful. But for big things- like dermatology and weird illness stuff for your dog, nobody is better than Dr. Mundell in Edmonds.
Mary B. replied:
^been to both- received better diagnosis, better care, better prices with Dr. West at VCA Bella Bottega.
Anyone got a good vet recommendation? Time to take our kitties in.
Trina J. replied:
I love Dr Larry Siegler at Animal Healing Center.
Tracey S. replied:
Companion Animal Hospital has been great for us. Not only is there diagnosis spot on and prices reasonable but they CARE. Recently we had to put down one of our cats and they vet sent flowers and a condolence note.
I hope nobody needs an emergency vet like we did last night. When you need a vet, it is not the time to try to figure out where to go or who is open...
I just wanted...
