My daughter had a front tooth injury when she was 2 1/2 and had to have a root canal plus a cap put on her tooth. Then a couple years later it had to be pulled out and she is not afraid of the dentist she actually likes to go. All the work was done at Pediatric Dental Specialist, they are great w/ kids!

Emigh Dental Care doesn't specialize in kids, but Dr. Pat is excellent with my toddler.

We tried Cortez and Stella. For office wow factor, Stella wins. Yes Cortez has fish but Stella's whole office looks like you are in some cool science laboratory. As for service, Andrew was resistant and Cortez wanted him put under. Which was expensive and I wasn't comfortable with. Stella asked me to wait in the waiting room and handled the situation without putting Andrew to sleep. Andrew also went from being totally resistant to agreeable over the course of a few years. Stella and Cortez are both expensive. But for the little ones you do what you do. We are now happy at Western Dental without all the bells and whistles

Dr Stella has cool parties for the kids on Halloween and other holidays, so he wins.

Mia goes to Dr. Cortez. When I first was looking for a dentist I asked her pediatrician here in LBC and my dentist in the OC - they both recommended Dr. C...I figured he must be good and so far Mia and I both are very happy with his practice. He also does not recommend anything unless absolutely necessary....that's a plus in my book. Good luck!

Dr. Stella! Worth. Every. Single. Penny. ( We don't have dental ins) Both kiddos have gone to him since they were 2 and they have no fear of the dentist. We've seen 2 other dentists in his office and they have been great too.

We have been going to Dr Cortez for ten years. He is on staff at Miller Childerens. He also has been active in supporting medical missions to Central America so your $ goes somewhere besides just his car payment.

Dang....people are passionate about their dentists!!! But does Dr. Stella's office have a giant fish tank and florescent undersea ceiling fish theme!!!!!

We also have used Dr Robert Stella since the kids were tiny. Great office, great staff and so much fun for kids!

I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Stella except that I found him to be expensive. We don't have dental insurance, so he was going to charge us over $400 more that our pediatric dentist in Beverly Hills had been charging us to see both kids. We quickly left and never looked back.

Both Dr. Stella and Dr. Dora Lee are pretty expensive if you don't have dental like we used to not have. We left Dr. Stella because when I asked if they gave a cash discount the office person very flatly said, "This is the price and you should get insurance". Dr. Dora was a little less but it was still a good $400 for both boys to get their regular dental check ups with no problems. Good luck!

Staci and Kelli, the coupon I use at Dr. Stella is 89.00 for everything, includes exrays. I have never heard them be rude. They are always willing to take my coupon every time and give it back to me. They have been nothing short of wonderful to us. Toby is even getting his braces there now.
