My favorite jeans are Seven jeans (not Seven for Mankind), & Joe Jeans. Joe Jeans are expensive, but worth it if you're going to wear them a couple of x's a week. Seven Jeans are much more affordable, but I'm not sure if they make them anymore.

If you purchased your dress from David's Bridal, the prices they charge for alterations are pretty fair. If not, and you would like, I can help you out. Fashion design and sewing is 'my thing'. I'm actually making my sister-in-law's wedding gown and doing a hem and bustle for my sister.
