Dr. Augustini SC Vet. He is by far the best. Trust me I have strayed to a couple other vets in the area only to have a missed diagnosis and in the end lost my baby. When I went back to Dr A one look and he New exactly what it was, but too late in disease process. I will always regret the stupid decision I made.

What ever you do stay away from SC Vet! They almost killed our dog when he was young. They treated him for weeks for the wrong illness with medicine that made him even worse. It was something that every vet should know better than to do. We now take our dog to surfside animal hospital in Oceanside. Dr. Matthew Brady — Veterinary Housecalls - He did the same for my dog Bart (great dane mix) at my home 5 years ago on Christmas Eve. Bart was too big and heavy for me to transport him and he was in a lot of pain. I was very very happy with Dr. Brady. They even donated money to a pet foundation in my dogs honor. Highly recommended. We put him to rest in his bed his favorite room of the house.

Ask Mike's Pet Care in SC. Mike worked for a few of the Vets and knows the guys that care and other that tend to have extremely high bills. He offers several services for pet owners including pet sitting when you are gone.

Our indoor cats who live on the 2 nd floor and have only been in place for 3 months have FLEAS! Apparently they are in the carpet from last tenants. I am trying Diatomaceous Earth Food Grad as a natural way to kill fleas that isnt harmful to people or the fur babies. Diatomaceous earth powder kills fleas by causing them to dehydrate when the abrasive powder gets onto their outer shell (exoskeleton) I had to order it online but fingers crossed it will work. We also have a cat with an auto immune disorder that makes his gums so swollen he scratches himself non stop under the chin that he has no hair ( that why we didn't realize it was fleas) I hope you can find something to help your pups.

We LOVE Dr. Amin at Avenida Animal Hospital. We switched from SC Vet several years and are never going back. I agree with Kristen, its not because of any particular problem and yes you have to give approval before procedures are done but that doesn't stop some from over inflating their prices. I've said it before but I was done when they quoted me dental cleaning starting at $599.00 and Dr. Amin was $299.00.

My 16 year old dog Larry went into kidney and liver failure, he had to have an IV. Dr Amin came in at 5:30 am to check on Larry and brought chicken from his house knowing Larry loved chicken. I can't say enough about the level of care I have received. His compassion and knowledge has been, bar none, the best I've ever worked with. He also works with The Ark of San Juan Animal Rescue. Point being he truly cares and gives back to our community.

Dr Ryan at Estrella Vet is GREAT! Our 2 cats have been going there since birth, 1 cat has had some health problems and always have had great experiences with the dr and office staff, never pressured by them and they are affordable too

No to SC Vet! They overcharge and over prescribe and run tests just to up the bill. I love Pacific Coast Vet. They are conservative and take the time to figure out the best plan of action.

I agree with Kristen re: SC Vet. They have a fandidletasic groomer however. Her name is Linda 212-9664. She's separate.
