Does anyone know of a good place to get acupuncture for one of my dogs -- that doesn't cost a fortune? I know he's going to need several treatments.
Thanks.
Sukey S. replied:
Yes. Call this place http://www.calanimalrehab.com/

I know same, Kevin. Sherman Oaks was my clinic when I lived in Los Angeles. They are terrific.

The only place I know of is Dr. Nancy Scanlin at Sherman Oaks Veterinary - on Moorpark just west of Woodman. I have know idea of the cost.
Phyllis K. replied:
Thank you all. I used to go to Nancy Scanlan. I'd heard she'd retired. I'll check into it.
Jodi O. replied:
Phyllis, I think Sherman Oaks Vet Hospital has a page on Facebook. You can probably get at least a FEW answers by checking it out.
Phyllis K. replied:
Thanks. I checked and she's no longer there. She's up in Northern California and no longer commuting. I went online and the reviews in general for Sherman Oaks Vet Hospital are terrible.
Jodi O. replied:
That is so sad. Weston Richter was my vet for 14 yrs. and one of the reasons I became a vet. So sad about this.
Who's practicing acupuncture in the Inland Empire??? Need a referral...
Mike L. replied:
My friend Kerry has been practicing for 3 years now. I am really picky with acupuncture treatments and I can honestly say he's one of the best acupuncturists I know. www.redlandsfamilyacupuncture.com

Inland Empire?
Evelyn C. replied:
Ah. Oh well. I have a Chinese herbal doctor who has an acupuncture person born and trained in China. Dr Guo doesn't seem to age.
