In need of a good nail salon place. The place I am going to now, V.I.P nails, are doing poorly on my nails. Mine came off within a week. I was not very happy. Not to...

We have a bride looking for a nail salon to get manicures and pedicures with her bridesmaids in July. Any recommendations?

I went to Q Nails in the Northtown Mall here in Spokane...nothing fancy, but it's nice and quiet, great prices, and they did an excellent job.

Venus Beautiful Nails at Northtown Square, it's a happy medium, not over splurge spa but very nice atmosphere. They actually advertise for this exact need in the Wedding Resource Guide (I designed their ad so I got to talk to them about it).
What to do with my unwanted makeup purge? Does anyone know of a place to donate unwanted makeup to?
Just trying to downsize the collection. I know some things can't be...

Take them to work - I recently took a bag of my makeup purge and my co workers were like vultures to it

Check with your local women's shelters =)

There’s a NY organization called Reveal Beauty that takes donations to help DV and sex trafficking victims. I believe you can mail them your makeup they have an Instagram account. There’s another one called Share Your Beauty, but I think they only take unopened makeup. There’s one in the UK too. Maybe with a little searching you could find a local organization to donate too. Women’s shelters are usually what people think of but I always, always recommend also looking into local LGBTQ+ youth groups. My local one takes makeup for teens (especially transgender youth) who may not be able to do makeup at home. Of course all of this would really be for new or lightly used makeup. If it’s very used just pass it to friends or family.

I am asking this exact question for my own purge. Do you have family/friends that could take it? That is what I came up with so far and seems to me to be the safest and most acceptable route.

Host a cosmetics swap and donate the remaining items to a women's shelter, charity that helps women.enter the work force etc.

[Project Beauty Share](https://projectbeautyshare.org/) takes certain gently used items!

If you wanna get rid of some stuff but actually need other things like dish rags, a pair of shoes, books; try a trading app like Bunz or local Facebook groups that have a trading/bartering system. It feels mad efficient.

I take it to my family and my hair dresser!

Hello. I usually bring my unwanted makeup to the workplace and everyone grabs what they want. If for whatever reason I have any leftover items, I would post them on my social media and see if anyone wants them. I rather give it to someone rather than throw it out unless it's unusable. Hope this helps.
