Hey I have been a pet sitter for almost 10 years both independently and with companies. I just moved here too and haven't done any sits here yet but would be willing to do in your home sitting for you if you don't want to go with a kennel. I'm on the east side too so it would be close. Give me a call if interested 540-336-0294

This is the only person I trust with my dog, and he is my next door neighbor. He does it right from his house and the dogs have a great time. While I can't personally vouch for cozy kennels, they have a good reputation and are right down the street from me, so I could be paid to retaliate if things go awry.

Have you looked into Rover? We did petsmart and it is ok but we’ve had better success with Rover and our dogs get to stay in their home and get taken out more than twice a day (additional outings are an extra charge) and it’s a fraction of the price.

I always use the puppy pads on n market. Good prices and it works for our dogs. They are very skittish and they share a kennel with each other. I've used them at least five times and one time for about ten days. I have no negative feedback about them.
leedorham replied:
I have a mixed review of Doggyland. They are very nice, reasonably priced, and treat the dogs great. They also post a lot of photos for you on fb. However, last time I boarded my dog there he got kennel cough (he is vaccinated). So take that fwiw.

We've had our cats at a Petsmart hotel. It was over on the west side but it may be a starting point. They have a doggy play area that I see dogs in all the time.

Our dogs go to Pawzitive Energyhttp://www.pawzitive-energy.com/ twice a week for daycare, and then they stay overnight whenever we travel. Jen and Amber are the kindest most caring people I've met in Spokane. They are super attentive to my dogs, and have set up their home to accommodate all types of dogs- big, small, shy, active. We feel so lucky to have found them and I couldn't recommend better people to care for our furry family members!

I don't know of a facility, but rover.com has lots of pet sitting and boarding options at very reasonable rates. It's kinda like an air BnB for dogs.

We recently used Westwind Kennels in the Medical Lake/Airway Heights area on a recommendation from a friend. They don't do group play. Very clean and organized. The kennel system that they have the dogs in is a little intimidating at first since it's not the normal put'em in a cage and close the door. However, after checking it out, it makes sense! The dogs don't see all the foot traffic come in from the owners or people picking up/dropping off and I think that keeps everyone from getting overexcited. A friend of mine has been using them for years and recommended it to us. The owners seemed like no-nonsense kind of people and I can appreciate that in people that take care of multiple dogs every day. Also, it was extremely inexpensive compared to other kennels in town. Only $10 a day!
