Hovland Conservatory has a 6 week scholarship for Kindergarteners around March. I think it's around $25/ week (30 min lesson) as well.

Both my boys also went to Julia Brown Vazquez in Champlin. She is great with all ages of kids and so patient, works at whatever pace is best for you.

One more suggestion close to Barton: Peggy Swalm who teaches out of her home at 44 th and Harriet. She was one of the recommendations from the staff at Schmidtt Music and she has a great, easy going style with kids.
