Currently my day care is full in the infant spaces, but If you are interested in options other than day care there is a great discount that ends tonight at midnight for hosting a live in au pair. Up to 45 hours a week of flexible child care for often less than day care. You can visit my website at www.tkapaun.aupairnews.com or feel free to contact me at 763-458-5662.

We love Westwood Lutheran. But we also had great experiences at Kinderberry hill. KBH Pre-K program will cover what most kindergartens cover.

My kids (now in high school) loved Kids Place at Lenox. Great to have the seniors around and the staff have been there for 10-20 years so lots of consistency and care.
Jake S. replied:
I second Anne on that one. My kids when to the Kids' Place at Central Community Ctr (adjacent to PSI). Great teachers and my kids made some lifelong friends in there.
Jenifer W. replied:
Tk to Peggy Rick at central community center. She is the head of it and I think they have all day options. My oldest Daughter went to Creative play there and my youngest sent to Berry Patch. Both wonderful Pre K programs, but Berry Patch is not full day or it was not then
A friend of mine is looking for a preschool in Uptown, Downtown, or S Mpls. Any recommendations?
Meghan B. replied:
I've heard good things about http://www.bethlehemkids.org/ and I think Sara 's kids went there. I'm going to look into it for F next fall. Otherwise, I think Bright Prospects ( http://www.brightprospectspreschool.org/ ) here in the building has a fantastic reputation.
Christine B. replied:
There is one called Grace near Uptown that is good. We enjoyed the Shirley G Moore Lab school on the U of M campus for our kids. Seward Childcare in Seward is also supposed to be good. Lots of our friends have sent their kids to Bright prospects and ha ve been very pleased. There is often a preschool fair hosted by ECFE South Parent Pack that happens in the fall. If you contact any ECFE office in Minneapolis, they should be able to give you that info. ECFE staff at Sullivan also have a list of S Mpls preschools, too.
