I also recommend you interview several to see which is the best fit for you. All doulas have different styles of practice, personalities and experience, lots of great options out there!

I can not recommend getting a doula enough!!!! Best choice I made with my last birth! Some insurance will cover but most do not. The price range varies widely typically based on the doula’s experience. I highly recommend Amber Magee!

Mariah Palrang! I loved her. She was absolutely everything I hoped for! ❤️ I also want to say just hire one! I know it seems pricy, but they are so beyond worth it and will make your birth experience so much easier and memorable! I LOVED my labor and birth!

Yes, you do pay out of pocket. Some insurance and health savings accounts will reimburse you however. Also the range goes from 300-1200 in this area of town. I always say interview multiple doulas and see how they fit in with your family and if you can see them supporting you.

Hilary Anne Redwine is a wonderful healer and close friend of mine. I highly recommend her services. She's also a massage therapist, so that's a huge bonus to have her as a doula.
