Dermatologist recommendation Looking for someone to explain what type of skin I have and how to take care of it ex.
is my skin dry or am I damaging it and making it...

I'm going to go against the esthetician recommendations and highly suggest a dermatologist. Getting facials or other facial treatments could very well aggravate your conditions. I highly suggest Wake Dermatology Associates - Dr. Kirk is great and attentive/caring.

I wonder if maybe finding a spa with an esthetician might be a great place to start. Get a facial, tell them about your concerns and see what they recommend. I've been to [White Dahlia](http://www.whitedahlia.com/) and liked it a lot.
Good Dermatologist???Help please Hi guys,
Can anyone recommend me a good dermatologist in Raleigh/cary area for my wife who is struggling with acne and scars.
Any help...

Dr. Jayashri Ghate of Blue Ridge Dermatology is excellent! I struggled with acne for about 13 years, the last 3-4 years being severe acne which covered my face, neck, back, chest, shoulders, and even part of my torso. She nipped it in the bud immediately, which no other doctor was able to do, and I've been acne-free for about five years! http://brdermnc.com

http://www.azaleastc.com It's in garner but that's who I went to for my back acne and other skin problems. They always seemed to be very knowledgeable and had multiple options for each issue I had.

It's probably out of the way for you but carolina dermatology near 4042 in the Johnson medical center helped greatly with my acne and my mom's skin problems.

I'd suggest the dermatology center of Raleigh. They have a PA there, Tarsha Rivens, who is absolutely wonderful. The staff is very helpful and nice. She is the only one currently accepting new patients, and as of last week still had openings pretty much the same week. I only happened across her because most of the usual places had long wait lists. Best of luck :)

I've been to quite a few but my favorite has to be robert johnson at cary dermatology. Always spends a lot of time explaining anything I have questions about.
