I just had LASIK done a few months ago. I went to TLC. Surgery center is in Greensboro but Dr Stonecipher is awesome. Cost was just over $4 k. They gave me a discount b/c I had BCBS. DON'T go for a cheap version, typically older equipment. TLC has a consultation center Apex.

My husband and I had lasik 6 years ago at NC Eye Ear Nose and Throat in Durham by Dr Perry. I highly recommend them. We paid $3,000 total for both eyes after a $500 discount through our NC Farm Bureau insurance. It was the best money we ever spent! I wish we had done it years before.

Had mine done also at Raleigh Eye Center in 2004!!! Perfect!!! I think I paid 999 per eye at that time. Highly recommend Dr. James Kiley!!

It's not a set price. My husband had it done by Dr. Travers and he swears by her. Said it was so easy. But his eyes were more "difficult" so he had the higher price point, which they told us upfront. Check with your insurance too - I found out AFTER the procedure that insurance would have covered half if we went to another practice. Dr. Travers does not take insurance.

Kelly Eye Center in Brier Creek was wonderful! I had it done 2 years ago and haven't had any issues.

I had mine done in 2005. Some of the best money I ever spent. Mine were too bad for Lasik and I had to have PRK. One eye at a time a week apart, more gradual than Lasik. was told I would probably only get to 20/25. That was good enough for me. I was wearing -7.50 contacts. I'm a nurse and worked at Duke Regional at the time. Dr. Perry at NC Eye, ear, nose and throat came highly recommended and I chose him. I have not regretted it. I worked night shift and he met me at his office at 6:00 on a holiday to accommodate my schedule. That's the kind of guy he is. I paid $2800 total. I ended up 20/20 and was very happy. He said he didn't want me to be disappointed if I wasn't 20/20 after the procedure. I started wear "coke bottle" glasses in the 4 th grade and they only got worse every year until I was about 20 yo. Now I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Perry!!

We have been going to Dr. Peters at Eye Care Associates in Wakefield since my 15 year old was 2. My daughter needed an ophthalmologist so we see Dr. Jordan at Raleigh Opthamology for her. She is ten and have been seeing him since she she turned 1.

I see Dr Berman off E Millbrook Road. He has been my FAVORITE doctor of all types.. I have used him for 16 years!!! Highly recommend the extra 15 min drive!!

So we are now at Carolina family vision by HS Harris teeter. No complaints. Gyn- I'm done having kids so I go to magnolia women's health in HS. By homegrown pizza.

Dr. Bob Johnson Johnson Optometric Associates is a great guy and I was happy with them, but started seeing Aaron B Glass who works with My Eyes Optometry, but I think he works primarily in the Lillington office. For dentist, I see Dr. McConnell here in FV.

I've always gone to Eye Care Associates. I used to drive out to Raleigh to go to the same dr as in high school but switched when they opened the garner office in white oak. Been happy with them for years.

Dr. Board is the BEST! I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else! I've often asked me if he can be my eye Dr. but he likes working with kids only! Grrrrrrrrrrr

I personally did not have a good experience with Dr. Board's office, but I was recommended to Dr. Laura Enyedi with Duke eye center. My daughter and I LOVE her. My daughter is not yet two and she has already needed eye surgery. Dr. Enyedi and staff could not have been better.

Candy, I agree with Linda. We have gone to Dr. Clerico for years and years. My husband has very sensitive eyes and Dr. Clerico is the only one that can touch his eyes. He is wonderful.
